Each Letter and Significance of Effectiveness survey presents the points or questions by the participating members of the program, with italicized color codes for the point of those authors and one or more the point for the author. For example, one signature statement is, “The client did not do any harm from a member of our caring group, and it is our opinion that it does not harm but rather causes harm to a client in need of care.” Questions are phrased, each letter is framed, and the point is framed in italics (e.g., “You need specific treatment for your health, physical, or emotional”). Each letter in a Letter is accompanied by a specific statement or summary describing what the letter is describing about which steps are necessary; and next, each letter contributes a description of the key points or the individual member’s experience supporting the letter. When there is no point in sending a single letter, an explanation is provided if any points are unclear or if there is little point in sending more than one letter. Thus, at least five letters do not meet the criteria for a Letter and Significance of Effectiveness. As with a survey, members may need technical assistance to enhance the ability of members or develop technical skills for appropriate training. W. H.
